CHARACTER

Name: Qiqi
Canon: Genshin Impact
Canon point: canon point can be a lil funny for Genshin uhh. M..most recent patch? Qiqi out healing the Traveler in Sumeru.
Age: Indeterminate due to circumstances, but listen, I do not think qiqi is out here swinging a sword at age 7. She's small for her age, maybe 9 or 10.

Summary:
A mysterious youth from Liyue who works at a pharmacy as an apprentice medicine maker/much more expert herb picker, in her own way Qiqi is one of the many relics created by the Adepti. A tragic trick of fate led her into the middle of a clash between immortals, resulting in her abrupt death and (somewhat) rebirth. She initially had to be sealed away, with the power animating her immediately sending her berserk. ...Don't worry about it, she took a nap and is doing much better now! Doesn't she seem very calm? :)

Qiqi is as much of a mystery to herself as others -- her memories are often foggy, easy to lose, and sometimes come back like a roving cat showing up at the back door. She keeps a dedicated notebook to keep track of her life, and especially of other people, because faces are one of the things she struggles with most. Qiqi's very accustomed to dealing with her overall.. situation, and so feels little melancholy about it. She's quiet, airy, can be a little resentful, and is very straightforward.

She despises when it's hot out, as heat thaws through the chill of her Vision helping keep her body fresh.

Powers/abilities:
Qiqi possesses a Cryo Vision, granted to her in her last moments of life. Firstly it gives her the power to heal, though in a very grim way -- Qiqi's power heals others as they hurt others, by marking out targets with a Fortune-Preserving talisman and then beating 'em up for restorative effect. She can also use her Vision to control ice as an elemental power, as a handy paperweight, and to tap into Elemental Sight, which lets you see... all kinds of traces of weird stuff left around. Spots where someone's used their powers recently, what kind of element you're aligned with out of the Genshin Element Set (Anemo, Cryo, etc), weird vibes and auras.. it's a very broadly defined skill, unfortunately! I'll try to use it very judiciously.

Via her Icevein talisman, Qiqi can also summon a little being called the 'Herald of Frost,' which brings the temperature down in its immediate area dramatically, and it can actually heal people without, uh... needing to do a violence.

Theoretically, she could channel the power in her body into different talismans, if she wanted. Making up an ew one would be... very hard for her... however....

Qiqi is a zombie, which means she does not need to eat, sleep, or breathe, and that blinking is really only a suggestion (though one she likes to take, generally). She cannot taste foods, but does feel some sensations such as temperature and touch. She will never get any older, and must work hard to stay limber. She also is subject to the orders given by the 'one who awoke her' -- but no one woke up Qiqi, so she gives herself orders. She has to follow these to the letter until complete even though she's the boss who gave them, only able to be freed of the obligation if someone hugs her with kindness, and lets her know they care about her.

Qiqi is finally quite handy with a sword, especially for such a little 'un! She practices a very antiquated style of Liyue swordplay.

Inventory:
Pouch for storing herbs containing a few withered leaves. She's been on the island a while, and everything from home had to be thrown out because it wouldn't be good for making medicine anymore.
Two pressed stalks of violetgrass.
A sword! The Black Sword, specifically. i just think it's neat :)
An antique wind glider with some concerning weathering. Qiqi is that still... safe...to use...?

OTHER

Sentimental item: A shed skin from Changsheng, Baizhu's white snake familiar. It's impossible to know if Dr. Baizhu really held it in a high regard, but it was kept safe in the pharmacy anyway, so Qiqi will do her best to take care of it now.
Gemstone: A long, thin rectangle, the front covered in characters that are too time-worn to be legible. It clearly resembles a talisman. The colors make a gentle transition from light blue at one end, purple at the other. There are some little holes in it, as if from endless droplets eroding it over time, but the holes' black edges betray their real source.

Lost memory #1:
Qiqi has forgotten the circumstances of her death completely, and with it, the story of how she gained her Vision. Qiqi.. didn't USUALLY remember this very clearly, but now it just never bobs up even now and then..
Lost memory #2:
Qiqi has forgotten a recent experience where she was taught that her favorite food is 'coconut milk,' not 'cocogoat milk.' However, she remembers quite clearly that Tartaglia was the one who got her a supply of As Much Of It As She Could Ever Want. Thanks Taru.
Altered memory:
Qiqi remembers Dr. Baizhu very differently. Before, she had a clear sense that he did not truly care for her in his heart, but now -- she remembers him as a man with a secret, genuine side, and many of the memories of their interactions have been replaced wholesale rather than left with small edits. This is my excuse for us not knowing much of anything about Baizhu: I get to make it up and it's fake anyway.
